Offering a mind-body approach through talk therapies, somatic practices and Rewind Therapy (PTSD) to support mental health.
Talk therapies provide narrative and context to your experiences, helping make sense of events, patterns, behaviours and beliefs and provide a framework to support the changes you desire in your life and relationships.
Somatic (mind-body) whilst talking through your problems, I will guide you to focus on underlying physical sensations that arise with emotions. This may also include breathwork, visualisation, grounding or tracking sensations. This work supports your primitive brain and nervous system to feel safe when memories, emotions and physical sensations arise; moving you from fight, flight or freeze and into calm.
Rewind Therapy works specifically with PTSD/Trauma to significantly reduce or eliminate symptoms of PTSD using a form of guided imagery.
Whichever approach you feel is right for you, I will hold a safe space for you to explore whatever it is that is troubling you, and support you on your healing journey.

I am skilled in, and have lived experience of working with the mind-body connection. This is relative to the link between repressed emotions, fear and nervous system dysregulation and the manifestation or heightening of physical symptoms. Within this system, I have worked with people experiencing chronic illness and pain, including long covid.
I work with adults only, and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
